KeiterBennett Publishers grew out of a simple realization: we had stories to tell, and no one else was going to tell them for us.

KeiterBennett Publishers is an independent, family-owned press — and we mean that literally. Every book we publish was written by a member of our family. There's no submissions inbox, no external acquisitions, no outside authors. Just a family of writers who decided to stop waiting for permission and start building something of their own.
What started as a personal writing project grew into a full publishing operation. We handle everything in-house: writing, editing, design, production, distribution. We do it this way not because it's easier (it isn't), but because it gives us something rare — complete creative ownership over every word, every cover, every decision.
Our catalog spans middle grade chapter books, novels in verse, and adult mystery — with young adult, epic fantasy, and science fiction actively in progress. Different genres, different tones, different audiences. But every single title is shaped by the same core belief: readers deserve stories that respect their intelligence and earn their time.
We're a small press. We intend to stay that way — focused, intentional, and deeply invested in every book we put our name on.
